Commercial Director to Zmarta Försäkring & Insplanet

The role 
Full P&L ownership for Zmarta Försäkring and Insplanet. Your mandate: transform insurance brokering into a digitally led, AI-first operation that delivers measurable improvement in conversion, margin and automation — you own the numbers. 

Responsibilities 

  • Commercial ownership: Full P&L accountability; define and deliver the commercial roadmap. 

  • Digital & AI-first execution: Deliver industry-leading digital customer journeys and drive AI-enabled automation across quoting, matching and customer communication. 

  • Outcome delivery: Run disciplined, data-driven experimentation; scale what works and hold the team to clear ROI targets. 

  • Distribution & partners: Own partner and distribution strategy, commercial terms and channel performance. 

  • Team & stakeholders: Build and lead a compact, high-performing commercial team; align Product, Tech, Data and Marketing around commercial outcomes; represent the brands externally. 

Success measures 

  • Sustained digital conversion and margin improvement. 

  • Clear capture of cross-brand and group synergies. 

  • A lean commercial organisation delivering predictable, scalable outcomes. 

Profile 

  • +5 years senior commercial experience in insurance, insurtech or adjacent consumer financial services. 

  • Proven track record improving digital distribution performance with demonstrable commercial results. 

  • Technical fluency: comfortable with AI tools, data, experimentation frameworks and KPI design. 

  • High analytical capability and ROI discipline. 

  • Fluent English and Swedish or another Nordic language. 

  • Pragmatic, outcome-driven leader who moves fast and holds teams to account.
